Better to know us and not need us, than to need us and not know us

Dear Jerome,

I just wanted to express my sincere thanks for the exceptional service you provided for my dad’s funeral both leading up to, during and after the service. The kindness you showed both mum and dad at this difficult time was touching to say the least. The professionalism and compassion shown on the day of the funeral was deserving of the up most praise and in particular the thoughtfulness which you showed to mum, and indeed all of us, was truly a comfort at this very sad time.
Thank you so much for allowing me to visit dad on a Sunday evening which was, and is, so appreciated. Thank you for taking such good care of him for us.

To Jerome and all at Masterson Funeral Home,

I want to thank you for taking care of Richard, transforming him back into the man we knew and loved before the cancer. As you know it was Richard who chose you, and now we can all see why. Not only have you given him the best tribute a man could wish for, but you have given us, his surviving family, beautiful memories of that day. You added so many personal touches ( Magners, yellows roses that Richard used to buy me) and everyone who attended his funeral said it was the best conducted funeral they had been to – between you and Debbie Page, you made the service not only bearable but an honour to be part of it. Richard would have loved it!
The support you have given us since has been never ending, and to know that you are all only a phone call away really does give comfort.
Thank you just doesn’t seem enough, but know it has come right from my heart.

Wishing you well
Mandy, Johanna, Adam and Shannon

Dear Mr Masterson

I am writing to express my sincere and heartfelt gratitude for the service you provided for my mother Violet Sweeney’s funeral on 6th January 2012. From my initial contact to date, all dealing has been conducted in the most respectful and understanding manner.
Your company was recommended to me by a dear friend and I am glad to say that the choice was perfect.
The man who led the funeral procession was so quietly compassionate, patient, respectful and understanding. He guided me every step of the way through such a difficult experience and although I am aware he is probably used to the proceedings, he did not make it feel like we were just one funeral of many. It was very personal and individual and I would like to say that it was an absolute honour to have him accompany my mum on her last journey. My praise goes to all of you who were involved, including those working behind the scenes as it were, but I would ask you to pass on my particular gratitude and respect to the man who led. I sincerely could not have asked for more and in fact, was given more than I expected and for me, that is a fantastic tribute to my dear mum.
Thank you all So much.

With kind regards
Jane McSweeney 13th January 2012

Dear Elizabeth, Patrick and Jerome

We would like to say a great big, heartfelt thank you to you all for your care, consideration and sympathy at this most difficult time. From the moment that I stepped into your funeral home I received a quiet regard and understanding of our situation. Elizabeth took the process slowly and clearly explained everything. I never once felt rushed or pressured, so unlike life today where everything appears hurried and one is often another number in a queue. Nothing was too much trouble and we had total confidence that our mum was in the best of hands. On the day every detail was quietly taken care of and Jerome directed us with thoughtfulness and regard and all went peacefully and smoothly. I could never recommend you all more highly or enough as a company or more importantly as people. People remarked on how well everything went and much of that reason must lie with yourselves. Thank you again, and lastly we consider it an honour to meet such lovely, kind, thoughtful and genuine human beings – a rare trait in the world today.

We send our best and warmest regards to you all

Dear Jerome

I wanted to put pen to paper to thank you, your mum and your team for looking after us so well. Andy’s death was such a shock and the pain is terrible but we were all so relieved and reassured when you agreed to look after us.
Having been in the police, both Andy and I – also Jennie – knew some of the ‘behind the scenes’ stuff for sudden deaths – stuff that can really haunt you – knowing you were taking care of Andy really lessened those fears. I know you will have been so caring and that really matters.
You took away a great deal of worry from us and I will never be able to thank you enough. The funeral was so well organised and although sad, was a wonderful day – Andy would have been very proud – I was.
Jerome you are one of the most compassionate and caring people I have ever met (you must get it from your mum.)

Thank you

Dear Jerome

Just a short note to thank you and your colleagues for the services of your company yesterday at the funeral of Hiand Sayadian. We were very impressed with the way you made what could have been a very sad time, a gentle and humane experience for all concerned.. All of your help and advice along the way was kind and thoughtful and we all appreciated it very much. The coffin was beautiful and Jackie, the widow, was very touched by it’s catholic beauty. She was very impressed by the ‘last supper’ carvings in particular. She was also grateful for your support during the visits to the chapel of rest. We were totally satisfied and impressed with the service received and will not hesitate to recommend you to anyone that should require such services.

Thank you again on behalf of us all.
